National defense qualifies advance anti-submarine helicopters: P5.4B

The biding to strengthen our defense has qualified a company from the British, almost succeeding
to sell two Navy anti-submarine helicopters.

The department of defense invited two companies on the biding
to submit projects for the improvement of military maritime
security capabilities.

One company meets the qualification being a helicopter manufacturer.
The company's name is AqustaWestland from the British firm.
The other companies like in India didn't meet the qualification base
on the requirements by law.

Meanwhile, the biding has two stages. The second stage is still at
for schedule to finalize the price of the helicopters base
off-course from the assets of the defense department.

The two Navy anti-submarine helicopters are expected to be called
an "upgrade" to our military maritime security and proves the
government's project in modernizing our military forces.
